152 lbs. Championship Bracket in PDG

Finalists: Tristan Sommers (Lincoln) vs. Forrest Lang (Mosely)

Tristan Sommers was a Florida state champion in 2013 and showed no signs of relinquishing that position.  He pinned his three pool opponents on Friday and his quarterfinal opponent on Saturday.  In his semifinals match he "teched" Sam Dufour of St. Paul (Louisiana) 17-1.  His opponent was Forrest Lang of Mosley High School.  Lang won an excruciating 4-2 match over Clay's Imier Almanzer to make the finals.

Sommers proved too fast for Lang but the Mosley wrestler did not cede points easily.  Sommers built a 4-1 lead in the first period and that score lasted well into the second round.  But in the third round Sommers scored at will, putting seven more points on the board to earn an 11-0 victory.
