Placing for the Skippers were Aurora Avery (fourth), Glada Ruffino (fifth) and Ina De Bastos Marques (fifth). Adia Wells placed fourth for the Broncos and her Zachary teammate Sophie Page placed 6th. Sofia Gagliano placed fifth for Lakeshore.
On the boys side, Catholic placed fourth, Brother Martin placed sixth, Rummel placed seventh, Jesuit placed eighth and Zachary placed 19th. Mandeville, Brusly, Covington and Episcopal also competed, but they had nobody placing in the top-three.
Three Louisiana wrestlers won the event. Brother
Martin's William Fontenot won at 113 lbs., Rummel's Dominic Durham won the 150
lbs. weight class and Catholic's two-time defending Division I state champion
Kristian Scott won the 165 lbs. weight class.

kept, might have enabled the Lady Scottish Rebels to win a round-robin event
held on Saturday. Chalmette had three champions
