For the second time in four days Dutchtown's Foster Shank met Holy Cross' Gunner Guidry in a tournament finals, and for the second time Shank prevailed.  At the Griffin Open Shank won 6-2.  In the Spartan finals the Griffin won 7-4.  Guidry reduced his scoring deficit from four points to three, so he needs to recall what was said earlier about "baby steps."  Shank won his semifinals match over St. Thomas More's Finley McGill in 1:26 while Guidry defeated Fontainebleau's Seth Lewis 4-1.  The junior Shank is 12-0 after this event.

Lewis prevailed over McGill in 2:34 to place third.
