Champion: Donald Paul of Comeaux |
Comeaux senior Donald Paul was 31-0 entering the Ken Cole finals. He
won the Louisiana Classic a week earlier and had pinned his finals opponent,
John Drake of John Curtis, in 3:20 in the Trey Culotta finals. Drake had
lost only six other matches vs. 24 wins, and the junior proved to be a more
challenging opponent in this match. Paul scored the match's only points in
the third period, winning 3-0.
