 Champion
Taylor Clay
Carencro

Despite being a returning 2018 Division II state champion, Carencro's Taylor Clay was not the top-seed nor the second seed.  He was the third seed.  Church Point's Bruce Arceneaux was 8-0 and seeded second behind top-seed Caleb Garcia of Parkway, who was 22-0.  After recording three falls Clay ousted Arceneaux from the winners' bracket with a 6-2 semifinals win.  Garcia was ousted in the quarterfinals by Zachary's Austin Landry, but Landry lost in the semifinals to fifth-seeded Reginald Barnes of East Ascension, who earlier upset fourth-seeded William Billings of Rayne.  The bottom part of the bracket was well behaved regarding seeding, aside from Clay's 8-2 decision over Arceneaux.  The highest seed in the finals, Clay defeated Barnes via an 8-0 major decision.
