| LA Beach Brawl II just as fun as the
first |

The much requested Louisiana Beach Brawl II took place at the Mandeville
Sports Complex on Saturday, August 25th. Beach Brawl II was a little
smaller than the first event as a lot of kids had left for their first year of
"wake-up without your mother telling you to" (otherwise known as "college"), and
some of the teachers and coaches had to go back to work. But those who
came to wrestle or just to watch had a great time. The accolades for the
first Beach Brawl led Sam Houston coach Ryan Lockhart to bring six of his
wrestlers from Lake Charles, LA.
Cody Hesser and Andrew Mullet "officiated" the competition, which was
sponsored by the Wrestling Academy of Louisiana.

Editor's Note: The editor is not accustomed to
taking photographs outdoors. Regardless, he knew enough that if photos are
coming out too bright at 1/8,000th of a second, the maximum allowed by his
cameras, all he had to do was increase the aperture of the lens to reduce the
amount of light entering the camera. But an aperture of 5.6 is something
the editor almost never sees, and the thought of increasing it did not cross his
mind until about mile 14 driving south on the Causeway.
