2018 USMC/USAW Fargo recap: Ingram and Harter earn All-American standing

Two Team Louisiana members left Fargo, North America as All-Americans after  the 2018 USMC/USAW Nationals, held July 13th-20th at North Dakota State University. 

Live Oak junior-to-be Camdyn Ingram placed second in the Cadet Greco-Roman competition, and St. Michael graduate Dane Harter placed eighth in the Junior Greco-Roman Event.

Ingram was the third Louisiana finalist in this tournament.  Daniel Cormier of Northside (later an Olympian, and as of July 7th the UFC heavyweight champion) placed second in Junior Greco-Roman in 1997 while Scott Gibbons of Rummel (and later Princeton) won the Cadet Greco-Roman event in 2010.

Ingram went 5-1 in the Greco-Roman event:

Harter on podium
Harter, who signed to wrestle with Ithaca College of New York in May, went 5-3 in the Junior Greco-Roman competition to reserve the last spot on the All-American podium at 182 lbs. 

Harter was a Division II and Louisiana Classic champion in 2018, and went undefeated at 182 lbs. in the 2017-18 season.
