Raven Guidry goes 3-2 at the 2017 U.S. Marine Corps Girls Folkstyle Nationals in Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - Raven Guidry, the sole Louisiana wrestler in the 2017 U.S. Marine Corps Girls Folkstyle Nationals, posted a 3-2 record in the city she will call "home" this fall.  In her three wins, Guidry pinned each opponent in times of 2:44, 0:43 and 0:27.  Her first loss came in her second match.  According to Guidry, that loss was a result of the "pure strength" of her opponent.  Her second loss was a tough 5-4 match in which Guidry was ahead until near the end.
