| Division III Patriots defeat two
Division II contenders and a Division I foe |

The John Curtis Patriots, who finished eighth in last season's Division III
state championships, made a statement by defeating Division II team title
contenders Live Oak and Rummel on December 21st, 2016. The Patriots also
defeated Division I's Bonnabel.
Below are photos from four of the six dual meets held that evening. In
the two for which no photographs are published, John Curtis defeated Rummel
42-33 and Live Oak defeated Bonnabel 60-24.
The Patriots, who for the first time in many years did not have to wait for
football season to end to field a good early season team, should learn a lot
this weekend at the Brusly Invitational.
In the photos below, while the editor knew the names of some of the
wrestlers, he did not know all of them and was unable to stay long enough to get
copies of score sheets. Hence, the photos are for those who participated
to peruse for photos of themselves.
