Live Oak team takes second with one championship and three runners-up at "Bulldog Open"

Ten Live Oak Eagles placed in the top four of their weight classes as the team finished second in the Baton Rouge High School "Bulldog Open" on Saturday, December 15th.  Division I powerhouse Catholic won the event and the East Ascension Spartans took third in the 21 team event.

Live Oak's Cody Hill is now 4-2 vs. Catholic's Brennan Taylor, the only wrestler to beat Hill this season.

Aside from Cody Hill's championship, Live Oak Wrestling Club member Christopher Marson remained undefeated, winning his sixth tournament of the year with a 14-3 decision over Live Oak's Colt Olinde.  Marson attends and wrestles for Denham Springs High School.  Jacob Chenevert and Marshall Chenevert made it to the finals in their weight classes (113 lbs. and 160 lbs.).
